A Friendly Church for ALL
From 24th February 2019 our two Small Groups will be opening a new and exciting study.
In this Cover to Cover Lent study guide we consider the experiences of six Bible characters who witnessed the crucifixion of Jesus. Their stories and responses can help us find a fresh perspective on the death and resurrection of Jesus and the wider implications of what was achieved for individuals and all humanity. Discover a creative approach to exploring the Bible, with textual and historical insights alongside group discussion topics and personal application.
During 2019 the Small Groups have studied through the PCI Study Course “Essentials” which engaged us through the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. This allowed us to delve deeper at our own pace into things that we might not have understood before. It was great to ask even the stupidest question and have the time to come to a better understanding.
As we start on a new study, this is the ideal time for new recruits. There are currently two small groups.
Group 1 meets every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm and is facilitated by Joan, Sandy and Marlene.
Group 2 meets on the 2nd & 4th Sunday evening from 7pm to 9pm and is facilitated by Valerie, Bill and Angela.
