United Appeal

Please consider giving generously towards United Appeal this month. All donations can be placed in the offering basket in a white envelope. The UNITED APPEAL for Mission is at the very heart of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Every aspect of the Church's mission depends to some extent on United Appeal. It supports projects, programmes and staff at home and overseas. It helps congregations and individuals to build God's Kingdom through youth and children's ministry, social action and the training of leaders.

THANK YOU FOR THE DONATIONS OF FOOD STUFF AT OUR HARVEST SERVICE. THESE WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE THREE CHARITIES.
Please keep on giving - place items on the table in the Foyer - even one tin helps someone in need, Thank you ALL.

SOCIAL ACTION:

Pop a few items in your weekly shopping basket and then leave on our food donations table in Foyer. Donations will then be distributed to South West Foodbank and Friendship House.

Our Local Foodbank is called South-West Foodbank and they exist to provide short-term emergency food to individuals and families in crisis. Food is donated by the public through collection days at major supermarkets, by churches and other community groups. We are now a referral agency and so if you are aware of someone in need of help please let us know. Donations of food stuffs would be most welcome they are in most need of fruit juice(long life), UHT Milk, Tea, Coffee and biscuits.

  • Any food donations for South-West Foodbank and Friendship House continue to be most welcome. Please leave your donations on the table out in the Foyer. Our local Christian Against Poverty (CAP) centre is Lowe Memorial. Leaflets with more information on the CAP Money Course, Job Club etc., are available in the Foyer.
