Leave to Call a new Minister Granted - An Exciting New Chapter
We are thrilled to announce that representatives from Dunmurry Presbyterian and Kilmakee Presbyterian Churches attended the PCI Assembly Buildings today as a Joint Charge, seeking leave to call a new minister, which was graciously granted.
This milestone represents an exciting new chapter for both congregations as we continue to strengthen our partnership and grow together under shared ministerial leadership.
Our Process Moving Forward
Both churches have agreed on our approach to finding a new minister. We will be receiving applications from ministers responding to our advertisement in 'The Presbyterian Herald' and on the PCI website, as well as considering suggestions from our members.
The selection process will be thorough and prayerful, culminating in candidates preaching at both churches before a joint congregational meeting makes the final decision.
A Time for Prayer
We invite our church family and the wider community to join us in prayer during this significant time. We seek God's wisdom and guidance as we move forward in this partnership and in finding the minister He has prepared for us.
Regular updates will be provided as the process develops. We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to what God has in store for both our congregations.
For any questions or to submit suggestions for potential candidates, please contact our session clerk Rev Gilbert Young, Kilmakee's session clerk Al White, or Rev Steve Stockman.
