Dear friends it is with sadness I have to notify you of the passing of one of our members, Mrs Sandra McAuley. Sandra passed away yesterday while at home with her family and will be greatly missed by her husband Arthur, her children Stephen and Leanne and the rest of the family. Please keep the family in your prayers.

The funeral will be in church on Wednesday at 1pm (21st December) followed by refreshments in the hall.

I am very sad to have to announce the passing of a faithful member of ours, Mrs Pat Roulston. Pat had been in hospital after having been unwell for some time and had just turned 93 while in hospital. She will be dearly missed by her husband Bob, son Roly, daughter Ann and the rest of the family circle- please do keep them in your prayers.

Pat's funeral will be on Friday at noon in our church with refreshments afterwards. (There will be a private burial for family the day before. ) You can find details on the link below.

It is with sadness that I have to let you know of the passing of one of our members Gwyneth Graham. 5th Oct. 2022. Gwyneth connected with us after the death and funeral of her husband Trevor in 2018 and then took part in our first GriefShare course. Gwyneth will be deeply missed by her children Ian and Heather, her son-in-law Stephen and her sister Beryl. Please keep the family in your prayers at this sad time. The funeral is in our church at 11:00 am 11th October.

Mrs Hazel Williams passed away in the early hours of the morning on 28th June at Lisburn Intermediate Care Home, Lisburn after being unwell for quite some time. The funeral will be in church on Monday at 12 noon. Please keep Lisa, Phyllis and the rest of Hazel's family in your prayers. See below the death notice from Elwood and Capper website:

June 28th, 2022. Peacefully at Lisburn Intermediate Care Home. Beloved wife of the late James, formerly of Willow Gardens, Dunmurry, dear mother of Dorothea, Pauline & Phyllis also a much-loved Nanny & Great-Nanny.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Hazel’s life will be held in Dunmurry Presbyterian Church on Monday 4th July at 12.00 Noon and thereafter to Roselawn Crematorium for a committal (arriving at 1.20pm).

Mrs Elizabeth Alexander passed away around 9.50am on 28th June in Royal Victoria Hospital rather suddenly after a bad fall the night before which had led to complications.

The funeral will be in the Roselawn Crematorium on Tuesday at 10.40 am.

Please keep Liz's daughters Susan and Diane in your prayers along with the wider family circle.

It is with sadness that I have to let you know of the passing of one of our members, Mr Billy Montgomery. Billy passed away yesterday 21st June around 5pm in Lagan Valley Hospital after being unwell for some time.

The funeral will be on Monday at 11.30am in Elwood and Cappers' funeral home, followed by a brief committal at the graveside in Blaris. Please keep the family in your prayers including Billy's son Paul and his niece Carol Houston and the rest of the family circle. The family are grateful that Billy is no longer suffering. We pray for God's arms of comfort to be around them at this sad time.

It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of a church member Mrs Irene Agnew (formerly of 3 Wyncroft Crescent). Irene had been unwell for quite some time but her health deteriorated over recent weeks when she was being cared for in the Mater Hospital. Her funeral will be tomorrow, on Tuesday 5th, in Ronnie Thomspon's funeral home in Lisburn at 11.30am. Please remember her family in your prayers especially her husband Robin who is receiving care in the Lagan Valley Hospital at present, Irene's siblings and their families. We pray they would know God's comfort and peace at this very sad time.

It is with great sadness that I have to let you know of the passing of a very faithful member of our congregation, Mrs Violet Russell. The funeral will be held in our church next Thursday 27th at 2.30pm followed by refreshments in church and then a committal at Roselawn crematorium. Please keep Violet's sons Sam & Neill, daughters in law Yvonne & Liz and grandchildren Philip, Ashleigh & Hayleigh in your prayers at this very sad time. We also think of Violet's close friends from church and pray for God's comfort & peace.
