It is with sadness that I pass on the news of the death of a faithful member of our church family, Mrs Sylvia Sturdy. Sylvia will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends including her friends from our church family.
Sylvia’s funeral will be in Dunmurry Presbyterian at 10am on Wednesday. Please keep her son David and daughter-in-law Tracey in your thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.

I am writing to pass on the sad news of the death of Mr Robin Agnew on 25th April. Robin had been unwell for some time and had been in and out of hospital a few times. Since his wife Irene passed away he has been living in Laganvale Nursing Home although he is formerly of Wyncroft Crescent, Lisburn.
The funeral service will be in Ronnie Thompson’s Funeral Church, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF on Tuesday 30th April at 10.30am; afterwards to Lisburn New Cemetery Blaris. Please find more details on the link below.

It is with great sadness that I have to let you know the sad news of the passing of one of our faithful church members, Miss Martha Lammey. Until Martha's health declined and she eventually had to move into a nursing home, Martha was still very involved in church life and will be remembered for her deep faith, her love for children and her strength of character. Martha will be deeply missed by many and especially by her family and close friends so please keep Marie and her other nieces and nephews in your prayers. The funeral will be in our church on Friday at 2.30pm followed by refreshments in the coffee dock and then in Roselawn for a committal.

It is with real sadness that we have to let you know the news that Mrs Margaret Milligan has passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Margaret was a faithful member of ours, a good friend to many in our congregation and she will be deeply missed. Please keep her husband, Brian and sons Mark & David, along with their families, in your prayers.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Margaret's Life will be held in Drumbo Presbyterian Church on Friday 1st March at 12:00 noon followed by interment in the adjoining burying ground. House Private. Sadly another one of our members, Mrs Vera Spratt has passed away - I know some of you were very close to Vera and will miss her dearly. Vera's funeral is on Tuesday at 11am in Ronnie Thomspon's funeral church- see address below. Please keep her daughter Alison, son David and the rest of the family circle in your prayers.

I am sorry to have to let you know of the passing of Mr George Taylor. George was a faithful member of our church and will be deeply missed by many. George was just 3 weeks off his 94th birthday and the family are grateful for how up until relatively recently he was able to remain at home as he had wished. Please keep his son David, his daughter Gayle & families, and his sister Frances and brother Bertie in your prayers. The service of celebration and thanksgiving for George's life will be held on Monday at 1pm in our church and further details can be found below.

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of one of our members Mrs Joyce Tibbs. Joyce came to join us after Windsor Presbyterian moved further towards Belfast and it has been a joy getting to know her over the last 2 years. Joyce has been cared for in the Royal Victoria Hospital over the last three weeks due to ongoing illness. The family are relieved that she is suffering no longer although they will, of course, miss her deeply . Please keep the family in your prayers especially her son Colin, daughter Lynda and rest of the family circle.
A Service of Thanksgiving for Joyce’s life will be held in Dunmurry Presbyterian Church on Monday 29th January at 1:00pm, and thereafter to Roselawn Crematorium for committal.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. Psalm 34 v 18-19
